ÌÇÐÄVLOGÍøÒ³°æ is excited to announce the launch of two graduate-level academic programs in the fields of public health and health informatics. These programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
The Master of Public Health program offers students a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes health policy, epidemiology and the social determinants of health. It aims to train the next generation of public health leaders who can address pressing global health issues, promote community well-being, and create effective health interventions. The program provides students with hands-on experience and real-world applications of public health principles.
The Master of Health Informatics program focuses on the intersection of healthcare and technology, preparing students to drive innovations in healthcare delivery through data analytics, health information systems and digital health solutions. With healthcare becoming increasingly reliant on data-driven decision-making, this program is designed to meet the growing demand for health informatics professionals who can optimize healthcare practices and improve patient outcomes.
"We are proud to introduce these forward-thinking programs that are designed to meet the needs of today’s health professionals and address the challenges and opportunities in public health and healthcare technology," said Kimberly Cavanagh, DHSc, PA-C, dean of the Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences at ÌÇÐÄVLOGÍøÒ³°æ. "As healthcare continues to evolve, our programs will provide students with the tools they need to lead in these critical fields."
Both programs offer online coursework along with hands-on learning practicum experiences to prepare students for the real-world experiences and interactions they will encounter upon graduation.
Applications for both programs are being accepted for fall 2025. For more information about the programs, please visit ÌÇÐÄVLOGÍøÒ³°æ.edu/MPH and ÌÇÐÄVLOGÍøÒ³°æ.edu/MSHI.
